The A3 full-colour posters, which were printed on FSC-certified stock, were designed with the help of a focus group of 6th form students to help convey the right message to its target audience of students and young people.
Ambassador, part of the Gemini Group, worked with MRF on the project from its conception through to printing and fulfilment and expects to support the project through printing further poster runs, as well as ancillary material such as information packs and leaflets, as the initiative is rolled out across colleges and universities.
The £1m-plus turnover company regularly works with charities and this latest project extends a decade-long relationship with MRF.
MRF chief executive Chris Head said: "We started the 'Get it Sussed' campaign 12 years ago and decided it was high time for a revamp.
"Students and young adults are the second most 'at-risk' group in the UK after children under five and are more vulnerable to the diseases when they come together in new environments, such as universities. That's why it is vital we communicate the symptoms effectively in a way that is relevant to today's students."
