Executive director sales Mike Warnes confirmed to PrintWeek that the firm was currently undergoing the compulsory two-week notice period with staff.
He didnt reveal the numbers involved, but said it would be less than 15 the figure suggested in industry rumours.
The move comes just over a month after the departure of managing director Jo Simons and the closure of the firms Leeds office (PrintWeek, 4 October).
Last week KPG bought MCSi sister firm Mitsubishi Chemicals Asian sales operation.
