An MBO team has acquired Engelmann & Buckham from parent group AH Buckham.
Managing director Michael Henderson led the MBO, along with sales director Bob Westlake and finance director Geoff Lennon. The trio financed the deal themselves.
We will retain the Engelmann & Buckham name it goes back an awful long time, said Henderson. We plan to continue with the core business and develop into new areas as appropriate.
The Hampshire business employs 24 and has sales of around 10m. It specialises in print, packaging and plastics machinery, and its agencies include Flexotecnica and Nordmeccanica.
The MBO follows AH Buckhams formation of a separate graphic arts company, Integra International Graphics Machinery, earlier this year (PrintWeek, 20 April).
