The Alton, Hampshire-based firm said its rebrand follows the merger of Engelmann and Buckham with Integrapak and Integra last year.
The rebrand, which will go live on 4 January 2016, has been designed to reflect the company’s traditional values, professionalism and service.
It will encompass a new logo, a new website and rebranding of collateral including letterheads, business cards and company signage.
The firm said it has consolidated its three business strands under one identity to simplify its internal and external communications and its operations, making it easier for customers to understand the range of services available.
The management team said they opted to keep the Engelmann and Buckham name, which will now encompass the services of all of the firm’s business arms, due to the history of the name and brand.
The new logo retains elements of the company's old branding but with a more modern font and a new blue and grey colour scheme, the grey carried over from the Integra logo. The branding also features a new strapline: ‘Machinery – Service – Support’.
Director Michael Lindsay said: “The thinking behind the relaunch was to convey the benefits of the merged company, and that we are a consolidated company, to our customers, and to reflect a bit about who we are.
“The benefits of the merged company, as opposed to the three individual companies that we had before, are that we now cover a much broader base of industries and companies and we have a great deal of experience in our sales team who are now offering introductions to machinery that one or other of us didn’t previously have in our portfolio.”
Chairman Iain Buckham added: “We work hard to create a high level of trust with our customers, which are based on our excellent track record for delivering the best quality machinery designed to meet our customers’ needs. I believe that our new brand identity is a strong visual representation of our core values and future ambitions.”
Following the merger, the business now covers four key areas: packaging and processing, printing, converting and plastics testing. These areas represent a portfolio of hundreds of different machines, including many that are bespoke.
The company supplies machinery from manufacturers including CP Bourg, Sitma and Profold to industry sectors including pharmaceuticals, food, packaging, printing, dairy, chemicals, petcare, cosmetics, drinks and plastic processing.
The firm’s customers range from blue-chip multi-national corporations to small businesses.
“A key benefit for our customers will be the increased strength of our service and support. We have five full-time engineers, with wide ranging machinery expertise, who work tirelessly to ensure that our machinery is operating efficiently,” said Buckham.
“This, combined with our strengthened Alton-based team and a number of training initiatives that are also underway, will enable the business to go from strength to strength.”
The family-run company, which was established in 1950, has 26 staff and sites in Alton and Petersfield, with a combined space of more than 930sqm.
