The AH Buckham group, which owns machinery agent Engelmann and Buckham, has hived off its graphic arts activities into a separate company.
Integra International Graphics Machinery will be the sole UK agent for a number of overseas machinery manufacturers in the print and mail sector including Italian firm Sitma Machinery and German firms Krantz-TKT and Vits Machinenbau.
Integra managing director Iain Buckham accused many equipment suppliers of "coasting along in the slow lane with outdated technologies". He said Integra would set new industry standards for sales and service.
Engelmann and Buckham will continue to handle machinery supply for a number of industries such as packaging and plastics.
