Londons Marshall Offset has invested 1.25m in new pre-press, press and finishing equipment from Heidelberg.
The company, which is on the shortlist for for this years PrintWeek SME Company of the Year Award, has installed a Topsetter 74 CTP device with Prinergy workflow. The equipment, which replaces two Katana filmsetters, has been live for one month.
"We chose the Topsetter for its speed and quality. Our schedules have been streamlined, giving us a time advantage on the presses. The installation made sense in tandem with the Prinergy system," said joint managing director Lyle Wheeler.
The group has also ordered a Speedmaster 74 six-colour press from Heidelberg, due for installation later in the year. A Stahl folder and a Digital Cromalin proofer complete the investment.
Marshall Offset caters for financial clients and is currently targeting the commercial sector.
"We have already added some names to our portfolio as a result of ordering the Speedmaster 74. It will pave the way to new markets for us," said joint managing director Gavin Cornelius.
