Brownswood Recording's Havana Cultura Remixed 12in album will be the first to use PEFC accredited paper when it is released next month.
London-based CSV, which achieved PEFC and FSC chain of custody certification earlier this year, produced the packaging for the album.
Clive Robins, of CSV, said: "We take our commitment to responsible packaging very seriously and gained PEFC and FSC chain of custody certification to provide assurances to our customers.
"We believe that these accreditations are valuable to both our business and our customers and it is something we actively promote to our clients."
More than 600 companies have the accreditation to use the PEFC logo, but it is the first time it has been used on an album sleeve.
Peter Latham, chairman of PEFC UK, said: "It presents an excellent opportunity to increase awareness of the PEFC logo to discerning consumers."
CSV was founded in 1997 and works predominantly in the music and film industries, manufacturing CDs, CD ROMs, DVDs and associated packaging. The company works with high-profile clients such as Sony Music, EMI and Warner Music.
