LG Davis wins 1.5m NHS deal

Birmingham printer LG Davis has won a three-year, 1.5m contract to supply print for the NHS in Shropshire.

The 75-staff print shop will provide forms, operational literature and leaflets for all of Shropshire's primary care trusts, as well as hospitals in Shrewsbury, Telford and Oswestry.

"We're looking at the standardisation of documents for the Shropshire NHS as a whole, and performing services on forms management which reduces their need for stockholding," said LG Davis joint managing director Glyn Bowen.

"The service will also include warehousing, electronic ordering and a consultancy service to help them get best value," he added. The 4.5m-turnover LG Davis, a predominantly Heidelberg house, already works with a number of NHS organisations in the Midlands, as well as providing general commercial print services.
