The Belfast-based label company has cut its emission levels by 70% since an initial inspection in January of this year.
The 33-staff firm, which manufactures adhesive and other labels for a range of industries, including food processing, has also signed up a range of initiatives with the Carbon Neutral Company to offset its carbon emissions.
Label One managing director Michael McGarry told printweek.com that as a business, it wanted to "give its customers an informed choice".
"We have cut our carbon levels by 70% since January so the plan now is to go after that last 30% and reduce it even more," said McGarry.
The printer has also recently invested in its fourth Gallus EM280 platform press, which McGarry said plays an important part in "enabling us to minimise waste and improve productivity".
Label One becomes carbon neutral
Label One has become "one of the first" label printers to achieve carbon neutral status following an audit by the Carbon Trust.
