The Nassenger Pro 1000 is a high-volume production model with a maximum print speed of 1,000sqm per hour making it the world's fastest scan-printing inkjet printer, according to Konica Minolta.
Meanwhile, the Nassenger Pro 60 is aimed at sample and short-run production and is capable of printing 60sqm per hour. It can also be used as a proofing device alongside the Nassenger 1000.
Both presses are capable of printing up to nine colours using Konica Minolta's high-density, wide printheads and water-based textile inks. The Nassenger Pro 60 features a compact design that combines a textile winder, dryer and unwinder, all in a single unit.
The Nassenger Pro 1000 is equipped with a newly developed nozzle sensor and floating-fabric sensors, to enable consistent production at high speeds, as well as a high-capacity ink system (40L of each colour) and a remote printer diagnostic function.
Konica Minolta said that its water-based textile inks had the durability to hold up under repeated laundering and friction. The two new presses will be showcased on stand A-130 in Hall 7 at ITMA 2011.
