It can provide UV, sapphire, aqueous and other specialty coating and curing. It is the follow up machine the Finish 20 UV coater, which was launched in 2006.
Kompac Technologies has launched the machine as the larger version of its predecessor, after companies began demanding a larger format.
The offline system is 43 x 66cm and is capable of handling a wide variety of substrates - from both litho and digital presses.
It runs at speeds of 6,000sph and features spot coating capabilities, and a five-minute coating change.
Tom Hayes, president of Kompac Technologies, said: "The demand for UV Coating has intensified in the past decade, especially in the digital environment. The result is a product that looks great but is also protected from the elements, and has extra durability for repeat handling.
"The Kompac Kwik Finish will add depth and appeal to printed pieces. The colours appear brighter and more vivid with a rub resistant finish."
