The 70 pages-per-minute (ppm) Kodak NexPress M700 can turn out up to 150,000 A4 pages running at machine-rated speed.
It handles 64-300gsm stock and can output documents at a resolution of 1,200dpi on coated, uncoated, synthetics and selected offset papers.
According to Kodak, the press is targeted at firms that produce marketing material, direct mail, photo books and business documents.
The second kit launch is the high-end S3000 model. This can produce up to 3,000 A3 sheets per hour or 100 A4ppm on a full range of paper weights, coatings and types.
Monthly output is clocked at upwards of 450,000 pages.
Customers that want the speed of the S3000 can start out with a NexPress 2500, which has a speed upgrade option, taking it up to that of the S3000.
All the presses include a fifth imaging unit, which adds options for watermarking, security and other capabilities.
Kodak Graphic Communications Group president James Langley said: "Expanding the NexPress platform of digital colour printing solutions enables customers to enter the digital printing market and expand their digital printing business by selecting the NexPress model that meets their current business needs and sets them on a course for growth."
Kodak has also launched new versions of its Front and System software, which can read standard file formats and job ticketing information, including the new Adobe PDF Print Engine and Acrobat 8.0 PDF files.
The new presses will be available initially in the US and Canada. UK availability and pricing is not yet available.
