The £90,000 investment will allow the Portsmouth-based display graphics and signage company to print on to a range of materials such as wood, glass, metal, plastics and paper, in both colour and white.
Managing director Mike Keating said the new flatbed will help the company continue to produce "innovative and visual" display graphics for its advertising customer base.
He said: "The many services we offer allow our customers to maintain a high point-of-sale and marketing impact at a very challenging time."
The Apollo 2216WW, which was supplied by Planet Digital, features UV-curing technology and measures 2.2m by 4m.
Keating added: "The machine is not only equipped with no less than 12 colour printheads for six-colour print technology, but also has four white printheads to print a far denser white than most systems could ever produce."
He said that by printing white in-house, the 21-staff group is "totally self-sufficient with our capabilities".
Key2 Group is made up of Key2 Graphics, Key2 Plastics and Key2 Displays. It counts Portsmouth Football Club, Samsung and Adidas among its client base.
