Kelvin Graphics in liquidation but buyers poised for sale

Failed printer Kelvin Graphics, which operates as Kelvin Print Group, has officially been placed into liquidation, but a sale of the business is expected to complete imminently.

The business is expected to be sold in the next few days – with two potential bids on the table.

Kelvin Graphics appointed insolvency practitioner Beevers and Struthers last month, who in turn leased the company to fellow Manchester printer Paramount Group until the business was placed into liquidation and a buyer found.

According to Beever and Struthers, this has enabled the business to continue trading as a going concern.

It is believed that Paramount is one of two bids made for the firm, although initially 16 notions of interest were placed.

Beever and Struthers, which was unavailable to comment at the time of writing, has previously said that just because Paramount has been given the lease of the company, at this point there is no guarantee that it will be successful in acquiring the business.
