The Launceston, Cornwall-based business unveiled the new division, KCS Digital, which will produce colour digital and large-format print, on 3 October.
The print room was opened by Tim Jones, chairman of the Devon and Cornwall business council, who said the company is "constantly reinventing their business and keeping their eyes on innovative markets".
KCS Digital houses a range of kit that includes two recently purchased Mimaki JV5 machines and an Epson 44" wide-format press. It also features a Xerox DocuColor 5000 and a Xerox 4110 copier/printer.
Terrye Teverson, managing director at KCS Trade Print, said: "Our new room allows us to diversify our offering by providing a range of print for local customers."
She added: "We wanted to offer high-quality print services direct to local people. If you want full-colour leaflets, and if you would like them personalised, KCS Digital is the place to come."
KCS Trade Print was founded in 1990 and employs 27 staff. It has an annual turnover of £2m and has operated from its current site on Pennygillam Way since 2005.
