In 2005, the firm opened its £1.2m eco-friendly factory in Launceston, which was the first UK provider of the Hydalam XO laser pin-mailer, used by many major bank and high street chains to securely send PIN numbers. The Investor in People company recently bought digital wide-format print kit including two Mimaki JV5 machines and an Epson 44-inch press. It also operates a Xerox DocuColor 5000 and a Xerox 4110 copier/printer
What does the future hold?
Liberal Democrat MP Dan Rogerson recently visited the environmentally conscious firm to congratulate it on achieving FSC and PEFC certification, and KCS is now working towards ISO 14001. The firm hopes to increase its product offering to include full personalisation and a range of integral products such as parking permits, magnets and membership cards
