Previously, the company used an indirect sales channel in the UK, but Harrison, who has experience with Bobst and Heidelberg, will now report directly to Kama chief executive Marcus Tralau.
According to the company, this move represents its commitment to the UK.
Tralau said: "John will be dedicated to supporting our UK customer base in the long term, helping them to grow and develop their businesses with the constant changes in the market. The trend for added-value printed products has never been greater across all sections of the printing industry."
