The Leeds-based manufacturer's managing director, Darren Shepherd, said: "They explained what it could do and the deal was done there and then."
Muller Martini technical sales executive Garry Huggett (pictured) said: "In my 18 years of attending trade shows, I have never sold a machine off the stand like this."
Jade bought the 6,000cph Valore with six feeders plus cover, with an optional loop stitching facility. It is also taking the 1522 three-knife trimmer the Valore was demonstrated with.
The equipment is set to be installed early next month.
The Valore is part of a 170,000 investment the Leeds firm was set to make at the show.
Jade is in the process of ordering an MBO T530 from Friedheim International and has been in discussions with several suppliers regarding a B2 laminator.
