The Doncaster-based finishing house has expanded its stitching portfolio, which also includes a Muller Martini 321 saddlestitcher, with the six-station Prima in a bid to increase capacity.
The kit, which was specified with cover feeder and five-knife trimmer, is expected to boost the 17-staff firm's bookletmaking capacity by a third.
Print Finish Services production coordinator Diana Wolloff told printweek.com that the Prima would make stitching "a fair bit quicker as well as increasing the amount we can do".
"It'll improve the quality of the product we provide for existing customers, while boosting the capacity for what we can do in the future".
Print Finish Services managing director Russell Breen said the investment helps ensure "competitiveness in price and turnaround in an ever-changing market".
Print Finish Services also runs two Heidelberg Polar Guillotines, a Horizon bookletmaker, Wiro binding and an Autobond laminator.
