The Tamworth-based cutting tool specialist will share a stand with its Swiss partner Easy-2-Trade, with both companies presenting new product lines.

ITC makes routers while Easy-2-Trade manufactures knives. Both companies act as agents for each other, according to ITC technical sales manager Sally Hunt.

One of ITC's key launches will be a range of balanced tools called the 1001 range, targeting users with high-frequency spindle cutting tables such as those by Esko, Dyss, Summa and Bullmer.

It will also be showing its Clearcut range of all solid carbide cutting tools, which cost from £25 and, according to Hunt, offer “more than acceptable” results on acrylic without the need for flame polishing when used on a high-frequency spindle tables, even when compared to tools with diamond profiles costing between £500 and £1,200.

“These days more people are buying flatbed cutting tables rather than conventional routers because they have different heads and can do pretty much everything.

“If you're cutting wood, you don't want to be using a cutting table all day, but for nice acrylics or high-quality foamboard they give great results and a really good edge.”

ITC launched the balanced tool range to offer improved precision, better tool life and consistency and enhanced surface finishes on components.

Its range improves machining performance and eliminates secondary hand finishing for the end user. Products include a line of knife tools and blades for CNC cutting tables.

The two firms will demonstrate their tools on on a Bullmer small digital cutting table that cuts, marks and carves signmaking, print and packaging industry materials. It handles acrylic, di-bond and foam boards.

Visitors to their Fespa stand will also see new Vitreo coated tools as well as the balanced cutting tools for high-speed spindles on routing machines and cutting tables.
