Intamac will be based in Leeds and will handle three main areas – it will source used machinery from the UK for worldwide resale, refurbish the machinery and modify it to fit customer requirements.
The division will keep stock machines on site and the location will be used for demonstrations and training, as well as eventual genuine Sitma spare parts storage.
Integra general manager Mark Goodchild said: "We have taken note of the increased market demand for expertly refurbished machines.
"There are a lot of Sitmas out there between 10 and 20 years old that are currently being replaced, and we felt that customers would be highly interested in units that have been re-conditioned by experienced personnel using genuine Sitma parts."
