The Jetmaster paper has been designed to help produce prints for the framing system, which comprises of a pre-cut laminated self-adhesive board to which a paper or canvas print is pressed. The paper, which is available in both a smooth and embossed finish, is strong enough to withstand being peeled back and repositioned as necessary and enables the print to stretch without cracking.
The Jetmaster display system, which was launched at Fespa last June, won the Innovation Award at the 2011 UK Art & Framing Industry Awards.
Unlike normal gallery wraps, which stretch canvas over a frame of wooden stretcher bars and use staples to hold the canvas under tension, a JetMaster patented self-adhesive holds the print flat and requires no tools or skills to assemble.
It is possible to use a wide range of substrates to create different looks including art paper, canvas, photo paper and textiles.
Innova Art managing director Mike Ramos-Gonzalez said that the company had applied its knowledge of supplying the top end of the art market to produce a product with a much wider industry application.
"The JetMaster paper has the look, feel and archival quality of traditional fine art products. It offers outstanding print quality yet it has all the flexibility that a JetMaster user is looking for and is much cheaper than many of the alternatives."
Innova has also created an online print utility, which enables users to make a professional gallery wrap without the need for photoshop, for all frame formats within the Jetmaster range.
