"Tough lightweight gallery wraps can be turned out in minutes using just a craft knife and a cutting board," said Innova Art marketing manager Laura Townsend.
It uses a die-cut corrugated cardboard self-adhesive sheet, which folds up to form the box frame. The firm's website includes downloadable templates to ensure the printed image is the right size and shape to cover the edges of the frame.
Unlike normal gallery wraps, which stretch canvas over a frame of wooden stretcher bars and use staples to hold the canvas under tension, JetMaster patented self-adhesive holds the print flat, and requires no tools or skills to assemble.
It is possible to use a wide range of substrates to create different looks including art paper, canvas, photo paper and textiles.
Sizes include A4, 12x16in, 16x20in, and boards are flat-packed for cost-effective transport.
Townsend added that the firm was working on developing larger sizes and fire retardant versions for use in retail, exhibition and signage applications.
At the show it is also launching Décor Art SE, an acid- and lignin-free bright white semi gloss textured art paper compatible with all eco solvent inks.
Innova Art is on stand B1 583 at Fespa.
