The two-day conference was held on 18-19 November in Mumbai.

"The conference showcased 13 presentations and interactive panel discussions covering topics like ceramic inkjet printing, UV inkjet technology, printer electronics, RIP software and a full focus day on digital textile printing equipment and inks."
The conference, stretched over two days, was addressed by Stewart Partridge, director, Asia Pacific, Sepiax Ink Technologies and Chimigraf Ibérica SL. He addressed the conferees on the industry demands that are driving inkjet into new directions and the specific solutions for a number of application sectors including wood laminate printing, packaging print and glass printing. This was followed by a technical presentation on electronics for inkjet printers, RIP software and printer mechanism was presented by Atul Gandhi, director, Macart Digital.
Also arranged was an interactive panel discussion including industry experts like Stewart Partridge, Vinod Krishnamurthy (director, Mimaki Kanphor), Atul Gandhi and B B Sen (director, Asha Penn Dispersions).
On day two, presentation from Ayush Rathi, MS Orange (MS representative in India) and Maurizio Ponchiroli (Inkjet Asia, Huntsman Textile Effects)kept the audience engaged. Following were presentations by Vinod Krishnamurthy (MD, Mimaki Kanphor India) Jos Notermans (business unit manager SDI, SPG Prints), Hiroki Inada (Konica Minolta IJ Technologies) and Martin Basset (Zimmer Austria).

Inkjet India 2011 event a success
The organisers of the second Inkjet India 2011 termed the conference a huge success, announcing that with 210 delegates from India and overseas, it was three time bigger than the inaugural conference held last year.
