The upgrades apply to the InfoPrint 4100, 100 and InfoPrint 75 models designed for direct mail and service bureau applications.
For the InfoPrint 4100, the company has co-developed a new toner with Ricoh that is claimed to help achieve improve toner yields leading to a lower operating cost.
The toner is said to offer improved fusing properties that result in excellent adhesion to a variety of media.
In addition, the 4100, which can be used for transpromo applications, can now support a wider range of paper options.
InfoPrint has also introduced enhancements to its 100 and 75 machines, aimed at small-to-medium size businesses producing direct marketing mailings, labels and packing slips.
Both models now support Intelligent Print Data Stream (IPDS) as well as PCL and PostScript. Improved language support has also been added with Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian and Spanish operator panel options.
