The Crawley-based web-to-print software developer achieved £150,000 sales in August on top of £130,000 in the previous month with sales of its products including the Catfish web-to-print package.
The 20-staff business with a turnover of £1.3m aims to push up its turnover to £2.2m next year and is banking on its expansion into the US to speed its growth.
Managing director Douglas Gibson said: “We have plans for aggressive growth and America is an important part of this plan.
“Around 30% of website hits have come from the US without us even pushing ourselves out there. We have landed five deals in the last couple of weeks.”
These included software agreements with print and marketing company Zuza, based in San Diego, and Arizona State University with 78,000 students and 13,000 staff.
Gibson said the web-to-print market in the US was four or five times the size of the UK market and he hoped to execute 25 to 30 installations by the end of the first year.
“Web-to-print is growing and growing and the move into America is a natural evolution for me. I spent a long time in the US with EFI and have good contacts and support.”
He said Catfish offered “complete management and the ability to totally adjust the interface”, adding that the company will also focus more on targeting UK universities and councils.
Infigo Software is looking to recruit 10 more staff in the next six months in areas of sales, account management, development and support.
To facilitate the US deal with PTG, his company has set up an office in Miami, Florida, and will be at Graph Expo in Chicago next month.
The deal came together on the back of shows earlier this year: Dscoop in Washington, Graphics Canada in Toronto, and PODI in Las Vegas.
The partnership with PTG will be for sales, technical support and custom development services, including hosting.
PTG specialises in web and software design and development. It delivers a range of systems from brochure websites to data-driven applications.
President Richard Spencer said: “I have been in web-to-print for more than 15 years and can say the Infigo platform is the revolution that the print industry has been screaming for.”
His company, with offices in Williamsburg, Virginia; Chicago, Illinois; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has served the graphic arts and marketing automation industries for more than a decade.
“We are excited to help bring such an easy-to-use, yet powerful web-to-print platform to the American market,” said Spencer.
