The Southwark repro houses contract covers titles such as Tatler, Vogue, GQ and House & Garden.
The firm expects to produce up to 200pp spreads in A3 format per day on the AQ2 systems, at resolutions of up to 2,400dpi.
The AQ2s join Icons existing DuPont products, an AX, IG and two b2 proofers. Icon joint managing director Paul Steggle said the AQ2 was the best-quality machine available for colour-critical, high-end magazine work.
Icon employs 44 staff and customers include Haymarket Business Publications, Centaur Communications, Time Out and Illustrated London News.
