One user branded parts distribution from centres in Maastricht, Holland and Israel a "nightmare".
Barry Heath, managing director of Midas Digital Colour in Poole, said: "Since HP took over, everything has gone downhill, with lack of communication and moving the service centre and spares to Maastricht."
Stuart Williams, production director at London-based digital printer 1st Byte, added: "Parts distribution can be a nightmare. If you have a breakdown on a Thursday and you need a part that's in Israel, you won't get it until Tuesday or Wednesday the next week."
HP Indigo vice president of customer care Hans Van Veen claimed that HP "strongly values its customers".
He added: "We will very soon be using HP existing spare parts logistics centres in the UK and Ireland."
He also revealed that three new service engineers have been recruited in the UK in the past month, with four more set to join the company in the coming quarter.
