MBA Group is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year with record-breaking growth for the company, which is projecting revenue of £130m for 2025.

Founded in 1984 by Bachar Aintaoui and Linda Bosch, the company has transformed from a local mailing service into a multichannel customer communications specialist that now operates six brands across traditional and digital channels.

“Our journey from a modest mailing service to a technology-driven communications leader reflects our unwavering commitment to prudent growth and continuous innovation,” said MBA Group CEO Sami Aintaoui.

“By maintaining our independence, we’ve been able to make strategic investments with a long-term view, that positions us at the forefront of the industry’s ability to affect digital change for our clients.”

Under the leadership of a management team including Aintaoui and digital growth director Leilah Aintaoui, MBA Group has expanded its portfolio to include MBA, Studio Certain, Intilery, Dots, VideoSmart, and AI-powered video creation platform Vidiu.

The company attributed its turnover milestone to “the success of our largely organic growth strategy, which is centred around delivering high-value services for our clients”.

“Our ability to win and retain clients on long term contracts reflects our robust position as a reliable partner and, importantly, our ability to deliver on our promise of transformation across the communications mix and across client industries,” the group told Printweek.

The company also praised the passion and client focus of its 250-plus workforce, which is led by the executive team.

MBA Group has recently focused investment on its high security IT infrastructure, which it said reflected its commitment to offer a secure, robust and flexible environment in which to manage its clients’ high-end and valuable communications.

Looking ahead, the group has launched a Sustainability Development Plan that it said incorporates climate reduction targets alongside community and employee development initiatives.

The business is also continuing to expand its digital offerings while optimising operations at its Tottenham and Warrington facilities.

In recent times it has invested in two Bowe Fusion Cross dual channel high speed inserters and four Quadient DS-700 lines across two of its production sites to significantly enhance the efficiency of its mailing operations.

It also runs presses from manufacturers including Heidelberg and Ricoh across its continuous and cutsheet lines.

To mark its 40th anniversary, the group will be celebrating throughout the year with a number of projects and events, the main one being this summer with a 40th anniversary party with its clients and partners who have supported the group to reach this milestone.
