HP latex inks used to improve environment in French hospital

Deauville Hospital has brightened up its interior spaces using large-format graphics by taking advantage of HP's latex printing technology to produce VOC and odour-free prints.

The hospital in Normandy, France worked with photographer Bruno Macé to create a series of graphics on the walls and floors to brighten up the hospital under the theme 'inside outside'. Landscapes and townscapes from the local area were printed onto a range of materials to produce a relaxing environment, including trompe l'oeil waiting rooms and bedrooms.

"When Bruno Macé presented us with the opportunity to print using odourless inks we immediately said yes, knowing this solution would meet our safety requirements," said hospital director Tanguy de la Bourdonnaye.
