Howitt has yet to sign for site transport plan

Howitt will not be able to start the construction of its Equator gravure plant in Sutton-in-Ashfield until it signs a legal agreement relating to contributions to public transport in the area.

A planning officer at Ashfield District Council said the agreement was usual for all major developments, and that full planning permission would not be given until it was completed.

Howitts application is still pending and it could now be October before the group starts construction on the site, which is close to its existing web offset plant.
