Blackfriars Crown Court heard how James Lovat and Stephen Riddle wanted to use photos of scantily clad models pillow fighting, but they were later deemed inappropriate for the bank's "boring" image. But re-shooting at the last minute had forced up prices, they claimed, although only 5% of the pictures featured the models in nightwear.
It is alleged that HIB deputy director Roger Crow, who paid Riddle and Lovat's invoices, took part in the fraud.
