Richard Besenbruck will head Hermstedt UK. He steps up to replace Andy Eakins, who left the firm earlier this month.
The two firms will offer bundles of Hermstedt hardware with Vio ADSL and ISP services, including a soon-to-be-launched Vio Digital Workflow Suite starter pack.
With so much volatility in the market at the moment, we are delighted to announce this collaboration with Hermstedt to offer critical support and expertise to UK users of ISDN technology, said Vio chairman Richard Horwood.
It makes sense for the two of us to be partners. If customers want a managed service or not they have a choice, said Hermstedt chairman Joerg Hermstedt.
Hermstedt is offering its Grand Central Pro software as a replacement for Transmission Manager and Director to 4Sight customers that dont want to move to Vios managed services.
As well as providing support for users of existing equipment, both firms are offering compatible hardware and software to companies moving to OS X to enable them to communicate with sites using ISDN and other protocols.
