The awards focus on responsible management of resources and energy, climate protection and environmentally friendly management.
They aim to encourage the idea that environmentally friendly credentials can help print shops to improve their image and boost earnings.
Heidelberg UK marketing manger Mark Hogan said: "There is a fantastic enthusiasm for green issues in the UK and we know there are many printers who could provide excellent submissions to this awards scheme."
There is a prize fund of €50,000 (£40,000) for the award, which will be divided among the winners and will be awarded for innovation and outstanding sustainable achievements.
Deadline for entries is 31 July. For more details, visit www.heidelberg.com.
