Heidelberg to unveil first long perfecting B3 at Drupa

Heidelberg will unveil the worlds first long perfecting B3 press, the Speedmaster 52-8-P-H, at Drupa as one of over 50 new or modified products.

The machine is capable of 4/4 printing using a new sheet transfer mechanism.

But the updated 52 won't be shipped out to customers until the end of the year due to a period of testing.

The press is expected to be taken up by customers working on short-run jobs such as leaflets or magazines.

Heidelberg will also be showcasing its digital workflow product Prinect and gave demonstrations at its pre-Drupa press conference with pre-press, press and finishing equipment.
