Richard Gayle, IIR event director, said: "The response has been terrific. We are allocating more space to a broader range of companies and are already ahead of schedule."
Heidelberg UK managing director George Clarke said that he was "keen" to attend the show, which will be held in London this October, but warned that Total Print! needed to maintain its short-run heritage.
He said: "Total Print! Expo was born out of Digital Print World and must retain that short-run focus and be a national, not a regional, show.
"Heidelberg is keen to be there because we have many products complementary to digital print, including the Prinect Digital Manager JDF workflow solution, a number of finishing products and, of course, the Speedmaster SM 52 Anicolor press, which is an ideal solution for doing short-run or ultra short-run work, as well as long-run work cost effectively."
IIR said that the evolution of DPW into Total Print! was in step with the industry, which is integrating complementary production techniques and processes.
Heidelberg confirms Total Print! Expo attendance
IIR Exhibitions has received a vote of confidence from Heidelberg for its new Total Print! Expo, formerly Digital Print World (DPW), after the manufacturing giant confirmed its attendance at the show.
