Hart & Clough invests in Komori Lithrone on back of 125th anniversary

Kirklees-based Hart & Clough has celebrated its 126th year in business after investing 495,000 in a new Komori Lithrone S529 press.

The 35-staff company opted for the B2 machine to cut turnaround times and maintain a "competitive edge" over its rivals.

The Hart & Clough group comprises a commercial print operation, as well as dedicated book printing through its Amadeus Press business and finishing by its Woods Print Finishers arm.

According to Richard Whittaker, sales and marketing manager at Hart & Clough, a commitment to technological investment and service has helped the group grow.

"Like many businesses, we've sometimes found the going tough in the current economic climate, but we have some loyal customers who know that we understand their needs and will deliver," he told Telegraph & Argus.

The £2.5m-turnover business operates from its 2,136sqm Cleckheaton facility. The company's newest investment will be used for the production of leaflets, brochures and small-format packaging.
