The Manta White is based on its Manta 3x2m flatbed UV-cured CMYK machine, and its €110,000 (£97,800) price tag is claimed to be cost-effective.
"White ink is great for a range of highly creative applications, particularly in architecture," said Grapo Technologies chief executive Radim Kralic.
It can print white followed by CMYK, CMYK followed by white or CMYK-white-CMYK in a single operation ensuring registration accuracy between the colours.
At 10m2 per hour the White machine is half the speed of the standard Manta. It is possible to convert the machine into the conventional, and faster, version in the field should the volume of work requiring white fail to meet expectations.
Like the Manta, the White offers Grapo's Twin Mode system, which allows the machine to print on one section of the bed while the next jobs are being set-up on another.
In addition to launching the Manta White, Grapo Technologies will also be showing its hybrid roll-to-roll and sheetfed machine, the Shark, which was launched late last year at Viscom Milan.
Grapo products are sold in the UK by Atech, with 20 installations according to Kralik.
