"We are extremely pleased with the results," said sales director Branislav Oravec. "We are looking forward to ongoing success with this option."
He added that the firm had designed the white option so that it could be swapped for CMYK production if volumes of white-requiring work didn't meet initial applications, and vice-versa CMYK machines could be adapted in the field to gain white.
Among the first seven systems sold were two to Slovakian business Double P, which chose the machine to bolster its five roll-fed solvent machines and produce interior decorations onto wood, glass and doors.
German firm HeLa Werbung, which installed a machine last November, has used the machine to print onto wood, acrylic, aluminium and stretched canvas.
"We believe this printer has the best price/performance ratio on the market and will differentiate our business," said managing director Stefan Heilemeier.
