The four-colour flatbed and roll-to-roll press can print on a variety of substrates and incorporates Xaar 760 greyscale inkjet printheads.
The Shark, which is due to be unveiled on Thursday (13 November) at the show, can image on a maximum print width of 2,010mm at unlimited print lengths.
Grapo's latest UV printer offers production speeds that vary from 80sqm an hour printing high-quality point-of-sale applications, to a top speed of 220sqm an hour for outdoor display work.
Radim Kralik, general manager of Grapo, said the Shark press would help printers "react quickly to clients' changing needs".
Kralik added that Xaar's printhead technology "allows us to manage and vary ink drop sizes accurately to give a choice of print modes".
