Higson was diagnosed with cancer last year. He died on 15 September, the day after his birthday.
His funeral was held last Friday (19 September). Higson is survived by his wife Sue and three children.
Higson founded the Deeside web printer 20 years ago together with his former Allan Denver colleagues Graham Ostler and the late Bob Allan. We worked together for 25 years. He will be sadly missed, Ostler said.
After his diagnosis Higson fulfilled a lifetime ambition by buying himself a Bentley. Hed always wanted one and we used to banter about it. At least he had a year of pleasure out of it, Ostler added.
The pair had a 50/50 stake and Ostler will become sole owner once Higsons shares are returned to the firm.
