The office will serve the South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC), which includes India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan and Afghanistan.
GMC said that the new office was opened in response to increasing global demand for its products and services in the direct mail, financial, marketing and transactional print sectors.
Hansruedi Jorg, vice president of European operations at GMC, said: "We are witnessing demand for variable-data solutions from print service providers responding to the needs of corporate clients."
