Mehul Desai, chairman and managing director at MOS, said: "The high-end capabilities of the iGen4 press has allowed us to push the boundaries of digital print and spur growth in areas such as direct mail, sales collateral and photo publishing."
Desai added: "iGen4 puts even more power in the users’ hands. Plus set-up time is reduced, productivity is increased and new high-value applications can be created with 24x7 production. The output quality is also superior."
Xerox launched the iGen4 during the Ipex South Asia 2009 show in Mumbai.
Desai said: "We saw the iGen4 during the Ipex South Asia 2009 show in Mumbai and at that time we had planned to invest in this digital kit from Xerox."
Besides Xerox’s digital press, MOS has invested in GMC’s PrintNet T personalised and variable data printing software.
Desai, said: "Our focus is on promotional mailing. And GMC provides a solution that enables us to provide additional security features, giving our clients a variety of options for their print requirements."
Desai, added: "We wanted a software which could offer flexibility and ease of operation plus it is equipped with special features. GMC provided the answer."
MOS intends to use PrintNet T software to develop new applications with a variety of options, provide additional security features and cost effective solutions to its clients.
MOS has also invested in a Kern mailing system.

Mumbai-based Mail Order Solutions (MOS) has installed one Xerox iGen4, GMC software and Kern mailer to speed-up the production capacity for which the company has invested Rs 4.5-crore.
