Launched onto the European market last month were two UV sheetfed and web offset process ink series - the Ultraking6100 and Ultraking7730 - and a base colour mixing system.
Marketing director at Flint Group Peter Baird said: "We decided to consolidate as much into as few products as possible to give the ultimate advantages of the new system across as wide a range as possible."
The Ultraking7730 is aimed at the high-speed UV sheetfed and web printing market. "The main benefit of the 7730 is good stability on the press and it’s good in low-alcohol situations," added Baird.
Flint Group's Ultraking6100 is designed for coated and uncoated papers and board as well as PE laminated board. The latest UV process inks have also been independently verified by a press manufacturer, according to Baird.
Flint Group has also launched a Ultrared UV sheetfed offset blanket. Transfer media product management director Bob Mosedale said: "The Daygraphica4100 received positive feedback and they commented on the sharp halftone dots, smooth solids and thought it was stain and swell resistant, making it easy to clean."
The blanket was tested by sheetfed manufacturers who produce UV-capable presses as well as packaging customers and end users in Spain, the UK and Germany.
