Caledonian Offset managing director Brian Marshall said one folder was out of action and part of the companys Goss Colorliner was also damaged.
"Its a seven-unit press that runs into two folders. At the moment were running one side into one folder," said Marshall. "We hope that the press will be fully operational by the end of the week."
A spokesman for Lothian and Borders Fire Brigade said four pump appliances attended after receiving the call and took two hours to completely quench the fire.
"The biggest danger was smoke in the factory. We also had some trouble gaining access to the printing press," said the spokesman.
