The paper manufacturer said its new Sirio Color swatch book comprises 30 bold and vibrant pulp-dyed papers including the new shades Jasmine, Milkshake, Flamingo, and Royal Green.
The range also features new Sirio Color Black, a carbon-free compilation of Fedrigoni’s previous black papers, Sirio Black/Black and Sirio Color Nero.
The FSC certified Sirio Color range of uncoated papers and boards is available in three finishes: smooth, rough, and denim embossed.
Spanning from 80-700gsm, Fedrigoni said the collection can be used for applications ranging from packaging and inserts to book covers and art installations.
The range is completely biodegradable and recyclable and its pulp-coloured formation is said to offer better light resistance.
The Sirio Color Rough papers, which are included in the swatch book for the first time, have textured surfaces that Fedrigoni said “inject a sense of tactility and craft into the collection”.
11 colours are available in the rough version, including all four new shades, whereas the denim embossed range offers 21 shades. All 30 colours are present in the smooth format.
The swatch book also features Sirio Black/White and Sirio White/White.
Fedrigoni UK commercial manager Ian Braithwaite said: “The new Sirio Color swatch book is Fedrigoni’s most universal yet. From our traditional smooth and embossed papers to our latest rough range, there is a paper for every creative avenue.
“Each paper can be used with all major printing technologies (typesetting, offset, emboss, hot foil stamping, thermography, and screen printing) as well as packaging processes (cutting, die-cutting, creasing, folding, and gluing). The opportunities are limitless.”
The Sirio Color swatch book is available from Fedrigoni’s paper consultants via its website.
The four new shades and the new black are all available with immediate effect, from Fedrigoni and its stockists.
Fedrigoni has also recently launched a new collection for its range of digital papers for HP Indigo presses.
In March the business launched a new global brand identity that streamlined the different brands within the Fedrigoni Group.
