The Essex-based winner of PrintWeek,s Business and Consumer Magazine Printer of the Year awards is currently beta testing the software before rolling it out to customers.
It expects Delano to go live with the first customers in the new year.

The firm eventually plans to completely integrate all elements of its factory, but the first areas to be connected will be pre-press, its MIS and the PECOM press controls for its bank of MAN Roland webs.
We want a JDF-based system to link all areas of the factory, said Hearnden. Delano allows us to integrate all the islands of information within the business.
The firms work with Agfa on Delano builds on their earlier relationship and the input it had in the development of Apogee, Agfas PDF-based workflow.
