Based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, the company gained the accreditations within a two-week period after estimating manager Adrian Booth took control of the process.
He said: "We aim to ensure that The Envelope Works is one of the leading envelope companies within the UK.
"Gaining FSC accreditation shows our commitment to this purpose, whilst completing the other investments we are continually making within our quality systems and infrastructure."
Within the next twelve months, the company will invest in at least one new four-colour press and two two-colour presses.
Managing director Mark Farrimond said: "We have also invested in a server that will enable our repro studio to offer a complete FTP service to our clients.
"However, our main priority is to build a purpose-built 1,858sqm production site, as we have completely outgrown our existing 1,114sqm premises."
Last year, Dutch envelope specialist Printing Partners Group (PPG) made its first move into UK-based production after buying a major stake in The Envelope Works.
PPG, an independent envelope supplier, operates in Germany, Holland, France and Belgium. It has a plant in Doetinchem in the east of Holland and The Envelope Works site in Halifax.
