Cullimore was previously marketing director at Kodak Professional Europe for 18 months.
Kodak bought Encad last October (PrintWeek, 23 November), in a deal worth 17.7m, putting it into the top three suppliers of wide-format ink-jet printers.
Cullimore will be responsible for all operations, sales, service and customer support, but his immediate task will be to establish and develop the appropriate infrastructure following the acquisition. This will include the completion of the merging of distribution channels, as well as the integration of the sales teams and dividing up of customers.
"We will also be boosting the business were offering to Encads service partners, by including Kodak customers too," said Cullimore.
Former Encad European managing director Dan Burmeister becomes business development director, based at Encads San Diego headquarters. He will oversee Encads international OEM business and development of channels for point-of-sale and CAD markets.
