Sandler, who is currently managing director of Creo Europe, Middle East and Africa will take on his new role once the acquisition of Creo is completed later on this year.
Kodak has yet to reveal any further details of the UK structure for GCG, which comprises Encad, Kodak Polychrome Graphics, NexPress, Versamark, and, once the deal is completed, Creo.
A source said that Sandler was putting together the regional management structure for GCG including the UK operation. It is anticipated that he will finalise the details of the regional structure to ensure it is in place at the completion of the Creo acquisition.
Sandler is the second high profile appointment from Creo to join Kodak GCG, Creo president Judy Hess' role overseeing Kodak's CTP, workflow and proofing products was announced last month.
